Turning dreams into reality, giving meaning to our artists.
We are delighted to announce the signing of Chinese pianist Tianyao Lyu to an exclusive multi-album recording agreement with Decca Classics, following her breakthrough at the 2025 International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, where she emerged as one of the competition’s most talked-about young pianists.
At just 16 years old during the competition, Tianyao was one of its youngest finalists. Although she did not receive first prize, audiences around the world were captivated by her warmth, spontaneity, and unmistakable joy at the piano. By the final round, many in Warsaw felt they were witnessing the emergence of a major new artist.
Hayato Sumino has just released his new album Chopin Orbit on Sony Classical.
This album is very personal to Hayato. Chopin has been close to his heart since childhood, and Chopin Orbit reflects his own journey with Chopin’s music as both a pianist and a composer. The album creates a dialogue between Chopin’s original works and Hayato’s own musical responses, showing how his inspiration grows naturally from Chopin’s legacy.
The program includes Chopin’s Polonaise-Fantaisie Op. 61, Nocturne in C-sharp minor, Berceuse and the Raindrop Prelude, paired with Hayato’s own pieces White Keys and Post Rain, as well as works by composers he admires such as Godowsky, Janáček and Thomas Adès.
For this recording, Hayato explores many sound colors by performing on different keyboards, including concert grand piano, vintage piano, upright piano and celeste, expressing his unique musical voice.
With Chopin Orbit, Hayato Sumino shares his personal conversation with Chopin and invites listeners into his own musical world.

Hayato Sumino has received a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ certification for “Most tickets sold for a solo piano recital (indoors)” following his recital at K-Arena Yokohama on November 29,
2025.
The concert marked the first classical piano recital at the venue and sold out the entire arena, with ticket sales officially verified by Guinness World Records™.
Congratulations, dear Hayato!!!
