Born in Penang, Malaysia in 2001, Vincent began playing the piano at the age of four. He studied with the renowned Malaysian pianist and composer Ng Chong Lim before continuing his musical education with Prof. Eldar Nebolsin at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin.

Vincent’s breakthrough came in 2018, when he won the International Taipei Maestro Piano Festival, leading to a performance of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Taipei Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, conducted by Yao-Yu Wu at the Taipei National Concert Hall. In 2020, he received a prize in the Concert Artist category of the Singapore International Piano Competition.

He later won the Klavierförderpreis Maurice Ravel (2023), and in 2025 was invited to perform at the prestigious Nohant Festival Chopin in France.
